One of the best places to understand more local life is local markets. You will see how locals sell/buy and what that place’s specialties are…You can visit Duong Dong market, Phu Quoc night market in the center of Duong Dong ward, Sonasea night market in Bai Truong area, Vuifest Bazaar close to Sunset town in the south of island or spend your time at Grandworld night market in the north of island. Fresh seafood, dry seafood, fish sauce, pepper and hundreds of things to be sold at small street stalls.
To get the fresh seafood, you should visit Duong Dong market in the early morning. You will see a lot of attractive dishes at night markets in both the north and the south. Especially, when you visit Vuifest Bazaar near Sunset town, you can enjoy some street art show there. It is so interesting!
